Conversations with Stephen Brucker, Glass Artist

Stephen Brucker operates his flameworking studio in Camillus, New York, and exhibits his work throughout the Northeast. He has been selected as an award recipient in both nationally and internationally juried exhibitions.

His borosilicate glass sculptures are centered on the combination of forms and structures found in nature and are aligned with themes signifying home, inclusion, and equity. Fragility, transparency, balance, and impermanence are core conceptual topics Stephen explores in each of his sculptures. He is most interested in representing these concepts in the most economical way possible while pushing the physical properties of the material.
Stephen received his MFA in Sculpture with a minor in Glass Sculpture and Art History from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2012 and his BFA in Sculpture with a minor in Art History from SUNY Oswego in 2005.

He will discuss how to develop multiple revenue streams for selling your glass work, among other topics.
